Meet Your Instructor
Hi! My name is David, and I’m the owner and sole instructor of Driveclub Academy.
From the moment my parents gifted me my first Big Wheel at the age of five, I fell in love with the thrill of driving and the mechanics behind it.
This early fascination grew into a lifelong passion, leading me to master driving a manual car, operating forklifts and excavators, and obtaining both boating and motorcycle licenses.
For me, driving is more than just a skill – it’s about the freedom to explore, and the joy in the dynamic connection between driver and machine. Beyond the thrill, it can, for some, offer the opportunity to advance a career, or help simplify the day-to-day.
However, driving is also a privilege that comes with great responsibility. We all share the roads and, as such, we must commit to being safe, courteous, and cooperative drivers. With this belief in mind, I founded Driveclub Academy to help change people’s driving habits for the better and make our city a safer place to live.
With Driveclub Academy, I am dedicated to teaching real-world driver education, which goes beyond the basics of operating a vehicle. It encompasses understanding road conditions and dynamics, recognizing potential hazards, and practicing defensive and cooperative driving techniques.
My mission is to create a new generation of drivers who are not only skilled behind the wheel but are also conscientious and aware of their role in keeping our roads safe for everyone.
Driving is a journey, and at Driveclub Academy, I believe in making that journey an enjoyable and responsible one, right from the start!
